Map Roles for IdP Authentication

Perform the following steps only if you plan to use IdP authentication. These steps are not applicable for the IdP Authentication Only (hybrid authentication) mode.

1. Locate the idp-map.xml file.

   For Tomcat, you can find the idp-map.xml file in the \I4V\WEB-INF\config subfolder of your Tomcat installation directory.

2. Open the file in a text or XML editor.
3. Add the IdP group names that will map to the Ennov InSight Viewing Administrator, Submission Manager, Reviewer, Restricted Reviewer, and Publisher roles.
4. If you plan to use group-based security, for each group that you will establish, enter a group name for each group attribute entered.

   The value(s) that you enter must match the group name(s) that you define when you add a group in the Administrator interface.

5. Save and close the file.
6. Restart the Ennov InSight Viewing application from the applicable web application server.
