Repository Level Security and Content Indexing

The Content Indexing option and the ability to add applications can be enabled for users with the submission manager role by setting the value of the attribute "useRepositoryLevelSecurity" to "true" in the config.xml file. Along with the ability to use the content indexing option, a submission manager must have the required security permissions on the repositories, user groups, applications and submissions to index.

Setting the value of the attribute "useRepositoryLevelSecurity" to "true":

— enables a user with the administrator privilege to define access to a given repository through user groups.

— enables the Home option on the application interface which is used to navigate to the Ennov InSight Viewing homepage for users with submission manager role.

— provides all the privileges related to adding of applications for users with submission manager role.

Note: Only users with administrator privileges can delete indexes.
