| Event Country Status | If the event was created by using a timeline/event plan, only the statuses defined for the timeline/event plan can appear in the drop-down list. You can add or modify an event-country status for a planned event that enforces status progression. When you add or modify a status for such an event, the statuses are limited to the next status as defined in the progression and optional statuses. If the event is not associated with a timeline/event plan, all the statuses defined in the system that are not already associated with the event country appear in the drop-down list.
The current status has the most recent actual date. When more than one status in the schedule has the same most recent actual date the last modified date will be used to distinguish the current status. When more than one status exists with the same most recent actual date and the same most recent last modified date, the sequence order will be used to distinguish the current status. |

| Status Date | The date that the status becomes effective. You can update an event-country status for a planned event that enforces status progression.
