Associate a Process Step

You can associate a manufacturing processing step with a PDS for a product.

1. In the PDS tree on the Product Detail Set page, right-click the manufacturing process detail node under a Manufacturing Process grouping node with which you want to associate a step and choose Add Step.
   The Add Step page appears in the right pane.
2. Enter values for the process step PDS attributes. 
3. Save.
4. After associating a step, you can do the following:

   Option	Action
   To associate material with the step:	Right-click the step node you added and choose Add Material.
   To associate a function with the step:	Right-click the step node you added and choose Add Function.
