Entity Security Options

In the Entity Security section in System Administration, the entities that are available depend on the license modules available to the user. For example, if you give a user write privileges for the Submission Planning and Tracking (SPT) module, only the functions associated with the SPT module are available.

The Entity Security options in Security Administration enable an administrator to assign the appropriate privileges for access to entities that are required for a user. The following table describes the available entity security privilege options.
Privilege Description
None Prohibits access.
Read View privileges only.
Write Read, create, and modify privileges. Can also delete product families and applications if there are no subordinate entities.
Admin Write plus delete privileges.
