Restart an Update PDS Project

Global Project Planning (GPP) enables you to restart an update PDS project without reentering the PDS and event information you originally specified when Creating an Updated Product Detail Set Project.

You can restart an update PDS project if:
  • You have a PDM license with at least WRITE privileges, as well as WRITE privileges to the PDS entity.
  • All the events associated with the project are open. This means if just one event associated with the project is closed, you cannot restart the project.
To restart an update PDS project:
  1. From the Home page, click the Projects tab.
  2. Using the Project Type column to identify the update PDS projects in your system, click the project name link for the update PDS project that you want to restart.
    The Project Attributes page appears.
  3. Select Wizards > Global Project Plan.
    The GPP wizard opens to the Select Action page for the project you selected.
  4. Select the action you want to perform.
