Associate or Disassociate a Product to an Application

A product can be associated to, or disassociated from, an application.

When associating or disassociating a product, following rules are applicable:
  • You cannot disassociate the last product from the Products tab of an application. If you try to dissociate it, a warning message appears: 'Product is required, at least one Product must be associated with an Application.
  • You can search for any Product, regardless of the Product Family, except for products with the status of Withdrawn or Not Approved.
To associate or disassociate a product:
  1. Click a link for an application to which you want to associate a product.
    The Application Attributes page appears.
  2. Click the Products tab.
  3. Click the Associate/Disassociate Products icon.
    The Associate/Disassociate Products page appears.
  4. For the Associated Products attribute, under the Selected box:
    • To associate products to an application, click Select, select the products, and Save.
    • To disassociate products from an application, select products in the Selected box. To select more than one product, hold down the CTRL key and click each product. Then click Deselect.
  5. Save.
