Delete Clinical Trial Shared Data

You can delete Clinical Trial Shared Data based on its associations. You cannot delete Clinical Trial Shared Data if it is associated with a closed event.

When deleting a Clinical Trial Project, if the Applications associated with the Project only have an association with an Event as a result of creating the project, then the Applications associated with the Project and the Events created as a result of creating the project will be deleted with the Project.

If you attempt to delete a Clinical Trial Project and there are data dependencies, such as additional Events associated with the Applications, then you will not be able to delete the Project. You will be presented with a message stating unable to delete due to data dependencies.

To delete Clinical Trial Shared Data:
  1. Navigate to the product family.
  2. On the CT Shared Data tab, click the hyperlink for the CT Shared Data that you want to delete.
  3. Delete.
    A confirmation message opens.
  4. OK.
    Another confirmation message opens.
  5. OK.
    The CT Shared Data is removed from the list on the CT Shared Data tab.
