Modify Packaging for a Package Set

Using the Global Project Planning (GPP) wizard, you can modify the packaging for a package set across multiple applications/events at the same time.

Note: The procedure below is a continuation of the Update Product Detail Sets project in the GPP wizard. The procedure presented in Creating an Update Product Detail Set Project must be initiated first.
To modify the packaging for a package set from the Select Action page of the GPP wizard:
  1. Select the Modify Packaging for Package Set option and click Next.
    The Select Packaging page appears.
  2. Select one or more Packaging Categories that you would like to modify.
  3. Select one or more Packaging Types that you would like to modify, and click Next.
    The Select Packaging for Package Set page appears.
  4. Click the check box next to the Product Family you want to modify the packaging of, and click Next.
    The Enter Packaging Values page appears.
  5. Click the check box next to the field you want to modify the packaging of, enter a new value, and click Next.
    The Perform Another PDS Action page appears.
  6. On the Perform Another PDS Action page, do one of the following:
    • Click Yes to perform another update PDS action.
    • Click No to proceed to the Summary page of the GPP wizard.
  7. Click Next.
    One of the following occurs:
    • If you selected Yes in the previous step, you return to the Select Action page of the GPP wizard.
    • If you selected No in the previous step, the Summary page opens. Proceed to the next step.
  8. On the Summary page, do one of the following:
    • Select the project link on the Summary page to review the new project you created.
    • Click Finish. You are returned to the view from which you invoked the GPP wizard.
    To view the project after closing the GPP wizard, click Home > Projects.
