Comparators are associated to Clinical Trial Authorization (CTA) and Investigational New Drug (IND) applications for tracking the clinical trail data which are further defined by product type.
To associate or disassociate a comparator:

Navigate to an event associated with a CTA or and IND application.

Click the
Comparators tab.

On the
Comparators tab, click
Associate.
The
Associate/Disassociate Comparator to/from Event page appears.

Use the multi-select list to add or remove comparators.

Save.
The comparators selected for association are listed on the
Comparators tab of the
Event Attributes page.
