Associate or Disassociate a Product to an Application

A product can be associated or disassociated from an application.

Applications can be created without products. Products can be associated later if required.

When associating or disassociating a product, the following rules apply:
  • You must have appropriate security permissions to associate products from the Products tab of an application.
  • From Application Country Rights, select the product families for the products you want to add to an application. Countries must be set to All or individual countries must be selected. The Access Level must be at least Read.
Note: You can search for any Product, regardless of the Product Family, except for products with the status of Withdrawn or Not Approved.
To associate or disassociate a product:
  1. Click a link for the application you want to associate/disassociate a product to.
    The Application Attributes page appears.
  2. Click the Products tab.
  3. Click the Associate/Disassociate Products icon.
    The Associate/Disassociate Products page appears.
  4. For the Associated Products field, under the Selected box:
    • To associate products to an application, click Select, choose the desired products, and Save.
    • To disassociate products from an application, select products in the Selected box. To select more than one product, hold down the CTRL key and click each product. Then click Deselect.
  5. Save.
  6. Click OK to associate/disassociate a product.
