Modify a Sequence

You must modify a sequence to make changes or revise the attribute values for a sequence.

You must have at least WRITE security privileges to modify a sequence. You will be unable to modify a sequence associated with an application if you do not have at least WRITE privileges for the application county as well. Having WRITE privileges for sequences is not sufficient under these circumstances.
To modify a sequence:
  1. Go to the application or event that has the associated sequence that you want to modify.
  2. Click Sequences.
  3. Click the link for the sequence you want to modify.
  4. On the View Sequence page, click Edit. 
  5. On the Modify Sequence page, revise the sequence attributes, as needed.
  6. Save.
  7. Choose the applicable procedure to enter an electronic signature for entities:
    Scenario Steps
    When electronic signature is enabled
    1. Select a reason and enter comments for the reason.
    2. Select Save.
    3. Validate your identity by entering your user credentials in the dialog box.
