Create a product family, products and components, and a product set type registration application (with associated products) before beginning the registration creation process.
Note: Creation of PDS entities is not included in this procedure since your registrations will be managed by product. However, depending on your security privileges, PDS and PDS details can be tracked for applications of the product registration type.
To create a product registration

Create an event with associated products from the application.

After an approval/non-approval is received for the event, but before updating the approved/not approved status of the event in
Ennov InSight
, do the following:
- Create a registration of the product registration type and associate the event and its products that have been approved. Associating products to a registration automatically updates the Event-Product Status and Status Date to
"Approved" and the status date of the registration.
- If any of the products associated with the event have a different status than the event, manually update the Event-Product Status and the Event-Product Status Date of each product.

Approve or not approve the event.
This automatically approves/not approves the products associated with the event which are not already marked as
“Approved”,
“Not Approved” or
“Withdrawn” in the Event-Product Status. The Event-Product Status Date is also updated to the status date of the event.
In order to associate an event with a registration, the event must be open, that is, it cannot already be approved or not approved. This is why approval/non-approval of the event in
Ennov InSight
occurs after the creation of the registration.
