Transition Rules for the Status of a PDS Detail

The following summarized how Ennov InSight regulates the status changes you may make to a PDS detail with regards to event statuses and how the status of the PDS detail has changed through the events with which the PDS is associated.
Note: No action, including Modify, Delete and Withdraw, can be performed on a detail through an open event if it has a pending detail in another event.
From status Action To status
n/a Add a new detail Pending Add. The option to add children to a parent detail is not available if the parent detail is in a pending state through another event.
Approved Modify
  • “Pending State”  (If Status is set to Pending)
  • Not Approved (If Status is set to Not Approved). Not approved version of detail is only displayed in the event through which it was Not Approved 
  • Approved  (No change if status is set to Approved)
Approved Withdraw Pending Withdrawal

(This is automatically set)

Pending Add Modify
  • Pending Add (No change if status is set to Pending)
  • Approved (If status is set to Approved)
  • Not Approved  (If status is set to Not Approved). Not approved version of detail is only displayed in the event through which it was Not Approved
Pending Add Delete n/a (Detail is removed from PDS)
Pending Modify Modify
  • Pending Modify (No change if status is set to Pending)
