Delete a Product Family

A product family can be deleted based on permissions. Administrators can delete a product family.

Users with WRITE privileges cannot delete a product family if the product family has associations.

To delete a product family:
  1. Click a link for the product family you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click OK.
  4. Select a reason and enter comments for the reason.
  5. Click Next
  6. Choose the applicable procedure to enter an electronic signature for entities:

    When electronic signature is enabled
    1. Select a reason and enter comments for the reason.
    2. Select Save.
    3. Validate your identity by entering your user credentials in the dialog box.
