NOT DEFINED Node

The applications without products and product families associated appear in the NOT DEFINED node.

On selecting Select Entity Trees > Product Family or Countries, the high level view of the navigation tree lists the NOT DEFINED node with applications without products and product families as child node of the Home folder. Following are the conditions are under which the TOC elements for displayed.

  • The NOT DEFINED node is displayed for the applications without products and product families at the bottom of the Product Family tree for all the product families that have Yes value for the Show in Tree field.
  • The Country nodes are displayed in alphanumeric order under the NOT DEFINED node.
  • The  Application nodes are displayed in alphanumeric order under the Country node of the NOT DEFINED node of the Product Family tree.
  • Only applications with a status that is equivalent to the internal status of Planned, Submitted, or Approved are displayed. Applications are not displayed if their status is equivalent to the internal status of Withdrawn or Not Approved.
  • Only active events are displayed under the Application node.
  • When a sequence is created as a child of an application, the sequence is displayed under the Application node.
  • When a sequence is associated with multiple events, this sequence is displayed in the tree as a child node of each associated event.
  • For all open events, all sequences associated with the event are displayed in descending order regardless of the status. The descending order is based on the last change date with the most current appearing at the top.
