Application Countries

You can add countries to applications for which the internal procedure type in Data Administration has been set to Centralised Procedure (CP) or Mutual Recognition (MRP). If you do not know what the internal procedure type is for the application, consult your system administrator.

For CP procedure type applications, in addition to the countries that you add as Concerned Member States (CMS), you must also add the European Union to the application as a CMS.

The following rules apply to the Application Country > Withdraw Date if this specific country is associated to the Country PDS Detail:

• If the Country Status field of the related Country PDS Detail is modified to Approved, the Application Country > Withdraw Date field is automatically updated to be equal to Today's Date.
• If the Event is closed as Approved, meaning it has the Association Closed As field set to APPROVED, the

Application Country > Withdrawn Date field is automatically updated to be equal to Event Closed Date value.

As an additional rule, the withdrawn Country PDS Detail > Country Status field is automatically updated to Approved. See If the Event Is Closed with the Status Approved.
