Associate or Disassociate Change Details and Events
Ennov InSight enables you to associate existing change details with other events. Furthermore, you can disassociate existing change details from an event for an application if the change details were inadvertently associated with the event and you need to undo the association.
When associating or dissociating change details to an event, the following conditions apply:
- You must have at least WRITE permission on changes within the entity security.
- You must have at least WRITE permission on events within the entity security.
- The event must not be closed.
- A closed change detail cannot be associated.
- Change detail of a closed change cannot be associated.

- Change detail cannot be associated with more than one open event of the same application.
- Change detail cannot be associated with the event of the application if another closed event of the same application has the same change detail associated, and is closed as Approved.
To associate or disassociate a change:
- Click a link for the event you want to associate or disassociate with the change.
- On the Event Attributes page, click Change Details.
- Do one of the following:
Option Action To associate a change: Click Associate/Disassociate Change Details icon and move to step 4. To dissociate a change: Select the change details from the list and click the Associate/Disassociate Change Details icon. Click OK to confirm disassociation. The Change Details are disassociated. - To select change details to associate, click Select under Select Change Detail(s).
- Select the change details and click Save.
- To change the status of a change detail, select an appropriate status from the Change Detail Status dropdown list.
- Save. The change is associated with the event.
