The following prerequisites should be met for a successful integration of
Calyx RIM with D2 systems
D2 dictionaries must have a format that includes both
Key and
Language columns.
If the D2 dictionaries only have a
Key column, then prior to integration with
Calyx RIM a
Language column should be added to these dictionaries and data in
Key column should be duplicated in the
Language column.
D2 column lengths should match
Calyx RIM's data column length.
To function successfully, D2 field lengths must be at least equal to or greater than
Calyx RIM field lengths.
Existing
Calyx RIM data should be migrated to the D2 system as part of initial migration.
Fields in D2 that get data from
Calyx RIM should be locked down in D2 and will be read-only fields in D2.
