E-signature functionality is available for a PingOne Identity Provider (IdP) in
Calyx RIM.
Administrator role permissions are required to perform this task.
E-signatures via PingOne IdP work in the same way as e-signatures for Azure SSO, so the "username" and "password" field references should not be included in the Field Group that you are about to activate.
To enable e-signatures for PingOne IdP:
-
Open the meta.overrides.xml file, located at :\InSightManager\server\all\conf\insight.
-
In the meta.overrides.xml file, remove the comment tags from all lines except the eSignature fields, as shown in the following image.
-
Save the meta.overrides.xml file.
-
Restart the InSightManager service.
After the meta.overrides.xml file has been configured to enable e-signatures, and InSightManager has been restarted, a user will have the ability to apply an e-signature to an entity.
-
After the meta.overrides.xml file has been configured to enable e-signatures, a user will have the ability to apply an e-signature to an entity. You will be prompted with a PingOne login when the Reason field was selected and then Save button pressed as well for the entities which user has activated in meta.overides.xml
