Enable PingOne E-signature

E-signature functionality is available for a PingOne Identity Provider (IdP) in Calyx RIM.

Administrator role permissions are required to perform this task.

E-signatures via PingOne IdP work in the same way as e-signatures for Azure SSO, so the "username" and "password" field references should not be included in the Field Group that you are about to activate.

To enable e-signatures for PingOne IdP:
  1. Open the meta.overrides.xml file, located at :\InSightManager\server\all\conf\insight.
  2. In the meta.overrides.xml file, remove the comment tags from all lines except the eSignature fields, as shown in the following image.

  3. Save the meta.overrides.xml file.
  4. Restart the InSightManager service.
After the meta.overrides.xml file has been configured to enable e-signatures, and InSightManager has been restarted, a user will have the ability to apply an e-signature to an entity.
  5. After the meta.overrides.xml file has been configured to enable e-signatures, a user will have the ability to apply an e-signature to an entity. You will be prompted with a PingOne login when the Reason field was selected and then Save button pressed as well for the entities which user has activated in meta.overides.xml
