Calyx RIM Administration

Add a Documentum, File System, Secure File System, or Veeva Vault Server to Calyx RIM

Use the following procedure to add any of the following types of servers to Calyx RIM:
  • Documentum
  • File system
  • Secure file system
  • Veeva Vault

The names used for connecting to DMS servers and repositories, except for file systems, secure file systems, and Veeva systems, are case-sensitive. When you add a server, make sure that you type the name in the correct case, if necessary, to enable Calyx RIM to connect to the DMS.

To add a DMS server:
  1. Log on to Calyx RIM as an administrator.
  2. In the Calyx RIM menus, click GoTo > Technical Administration.
  3. In the Available Options list, click DMS Server Management.
  4. In the Servers view, click Create.
  5. For Server Type, click the option for the kind of the server that you want to add: 
    • Documentum
    • Filesystem
    • SecureFileSystem
    • Veeva Vault
  6. For Server Name, type the name of the server that you are adding.
    The Active Flag default setting is Y, for active, so the server is active as soon as it is added to Calyx RIM. DMS servers can be deactivated or activated again at any time after configuration.
