You can remove Task Alerts from the Alert Center, or completely delete the task if it is no longer needed. Task Alerts are displayed in the
Alert Center pane on the
Home Page.
You can delete the task.
To delete the task:

Navigate to the
task attributes page by clicking the task name in the
Alert Center pane.

On the
task attributes page, click the
Delete icon.

On the confirmation message that appears, click
OK.
The task attributes are deleted and the task alert no longer appears in the
Alert Center pane.
