Post-Installation Tasks

Before you use any installed sub-minor version of Calyx RIM 6.2 , you must perform post-installation tasks.

Important: After each upgrade, Calyx RIM drops and recreates all views. This affects all custom database objects that have been created and granted rights against any of the Calyx RIM database objects. This also affects each customized report (query) which may need to be recreated. If you have any customization applied, you will need to reload it after the upgrade is complete.
After you install the sub-minor version of Calyx RIM 6.2 :
  1. Add any property customizations to the new properties files if required.
  2. Create new assembly templates.
  3. If you customized any template files before you installed the sub-minor version of Calyx RIM 6.2 , and you need to maintain the customizations, add your customizations after the sub-minor version template files are installed. Add any customized template files if required.
  4. Clear temporary Internet files from your browser.
  5. If you use Veeva, its temporary files accumulate on the application server and remain there until removed. To free up space on the server, delete the files from the temporary directory in the default location (C:\Users\<Serviceaccount name>\AppData\Local\Temp) and restart the server.
