Calyx RIM for Analytics Server Update

  1. Copy the WebFOCUSExpress8010.exe file to the WebFocus server to be updated.
  2. Make copies of the following known good files to a temporary folder:
    • install location\WebFOCUS_Express80\WebFOCUS\webapps\webfocus\WEB-INF\web.xml
    • install location\WebFOCUS_Express80\WebFOCUS\config\webconfig.xml
    • install location\WebFOCUS_Express80\tomcat\conf\server.xml
  3. Update WebFOCUS Express by double-clicking on WebFOCUSExpress8010.exe
  4. Choose a language and click OK.
    1. Click Next
    2. Accept the license agreement, and click Next
    3. With Update selected, click Next
  5. Select Install.
    A message will display stating that the installation was completed.
  6. Click Done
  7. Stop the WebFOCUS services.
  8. Delete the install location\WebFOCUS_Express80\tomcat\work\Catalina directory and all subdirectories.
  9. Delete the following directories from: install location\WebFOCUS_Express80\WebFOCUS\webapps\ibi_help\WEB-INF\plugins
    • com.ibi.help.admin
    • com.ibi.help.portal
    • com.ibi.help.ia
    • com.ibi.help.rc
  10. Copy the contents of the WFConfig.zip file from the Calyx RIM 6.2 installation media to the WebFOCUS install location on the WebFOCUS server.
    This will overwrite several files used for SSO branding and customization.
  11. Copy the known good files from step 2 back to their original locations, replacing the current files.
  12. Start the WebFocus services.
