Installing WebFOCUS Express

  1. Run the binary file: WebFOCUSExpress8009.exe
  2. For language, select English, and click Next.
  3. Accept the License Agreement.
    1. Click Next.
    2. Specify the License Key and Site code.
    3. Click Next.
  4. Specify the directory to install WebFOCUS. This will be referred to as the install location throughout this procedure.
  5. For Mail Server Name, choose None and enter your valid e-mail address.
    1. Click Next.
  6. Specify the password for Express Administrator.
    1. Click Next.
  7. Select Install to finish the installation.
  8. Login as express administrator on the WebFOCUS Express page.
  9. Navigate to the Reporting tab, expand the Reporting Servers node, right-click on EDASERVE and select the Reporting Server console to open the reporting console.
