DMS Synchronization and OpenText Content Server
The OpenText Content Server repository does not delete an assigned document completely when you perform DMS synchronization.
Specific configurations must be in place for removing the deleted documents.
If a document stored in OpenText Content Server is assigned to an assembly, and the assigned document is deleted from the OpenText Content Server repository, the document does not show as missing in the assembly after performing a DMS synchronization. This occurs because a copy of the deleted document still exists in OpenText Content Server in the Deleted Objects Volume. For the the document to show as missing, you must configure the Purge Deleted Documents setting in OpenText Content Server to remove deleted documents from the the Deleted Objects Volume. Please see your OpenText Content Server documentation for more information.
