Internet Explorer is recommended for viewing generated .xml files in your Web browser.
Note: For opening and viewing published XML files, PAREXEL recommends using the Microsoft Internet Explorer Web browser. Although
Calyx RIM
6.2 supports other Web browsers, opening published XML files is best accomplished using Internet Explorer.
To view an
index.xml file or
xx-regional.xml file in Internet Explorer:
-
Open the
index.xml in Internet Explorer.
- If XML files do not open in Internet Explorer, check that the
util folder exists as a sibling to the module folders.
- There should be two folders in the
util folder:
Dtd, which holds the DTD files against which the XML files are validated, and
Style, which holds stylesheets that determine how the XML files will be displayed in Internet Explorer
-
Click the blue links to verify that leaf files can be launched from the
index.xml. There should be no errors saying that a file cannot be located.
- PDF files should open in Acrobat
- XML files should open in Internet Explorer
- XPT files should open in SAS Viewer (if available)
-
Open the
xx-regional.xml in Internet Explorer and review it following the procedure for the
index.xml.
-
In the
xx-regional.xml, verify the application metadata at the top of the page, which typically includes company name, date of submission, application number, and so on. It may also show the number of leaf files in the XML file, depending on the region and the stylesheet.
