Modify a Manufacturing Process Step Function

Note: The procedure below is a continuation of the Update Product Detail Sets project in the GPP wizard. The procedure presented in Creating an Update Product Detail Set Project must be initiated first.
To modify a manufacturing process step function on the Select Action page of the GPP wizard:
  1. Select Modify Manufacturing Process Step Function, and click Next.
  2. On the Select Manufacturing Process Step Function Parent page, select the manufacturing process parent type:
    • Active Ingredient
    • Component
    • Product Detail Set
    • Substance
  3. Click Next.
    The Select Manufacturing Process Step Function page appears, listing PDSs containing approved manufacturing process step functions for approved parent details that also meet the criteria selected in the previous step.
  4. Select one or more PDSs, and click Next.
    The Enter Manufacturing Process Step Function Values page appears, presenting the options to change:
    • Function Keywords
    • Function Description
    • Function Comments
  5. Select the check box next to the attribute you want to change. Enter text in the available field.
    • If you select a check box and leave the associated field blank, the manufacturing process property is updated with a blank value.
    • Only the selected property attributes will be updated. The values for property attributes that are not selected will remain unchanged in the manufacturing process you are updating.
  6. Click Next.
    The Perform Another PDS Action page opens.
  7. On the Perform Another PDS Action page, do one of the following:
    • Click Yes to perform another update PDS action.
    • Click No to proceed to the Summary page of the GPP wizard.
  8. Click Next.
    One of the following occurs:
    • If you selected Yes in the previous step, you return to the Select Action page of the GPP wizard.
    • If you selected No in the previous step, the Summary page opens. Proceed to the next step.
  9. On the Summary page, do one of the following:
    • Select the project link on the Summary page to review the new project you created.
    • Click Finish. You are returned to the view from which you invoked the GPP wizard.
    To view the project after closing the GPP wizard, click Home > Projects.
