Withdraw Component Packaging for a Package Set PDS Project

Using the Global Project Planning (GPP) wizard, you can withdraw approved packaging for a component in a PDS package set.

Note: The procedure below is a continuation of the Update Product Detail Sets project type in the GPP wizard. The procedure presented in Creating an Update Product Detail Set Project must be initiated first.
To withdraw component packaging for a package set on the Select Action page of the GPP wizard:
  1. Select Withdraw Component Packaging for Package Set on the Select Action page.
  2. Click Next.
    The Select Packaging page appears.
  3. On the Select Packaging page, do the following:
    1. Select one or more packaging categories.
    2. Select one or more packaging types.
  4. Click Next.
    The Select Package Set Component Packaging page appears, listing PDSs containing approved packaging details and approved package sets that also meet the criteria selected in steps 3.
  5. Select the package set component packaging that you want to withdraw.
  6. Click Next.
    The Perform Another PDS Action page opens.
  7. Do one of the following:
    • Click Yes to perform another update PDS action.
    • Click No to proceed to the Summary page of the GPP wizard.
  8. Click Next.
    One of the following occurs:
    • If you selected Yes in step 7, you return to the Select Action page of the GPP wizard.
    • If you selected No in step 7, the Summary page appears. Go to step 9.
  9. On the Summary page, do one of the following:
    • Select the project link on the Summary page to review the new project you created.
    • Click Finish. You are returned to the view from which you invoked the GPP wizard.
  10. To view the project after closing the GPP wizard, click Home > Projects.
  11. Click the link for the project you just created to open the Project Attributes page.
  12. Navigate to the PDS to view the modified details.
