Associate Additional Countries with an Event

You can associate additional countries with an event from the countries associated to an application. You can set default lead times if the event is associated with a timeline/event plan.

To perform this procedure, the event must be open and you will need WRITE privileges for the event.

To associate additional countries with an event:
  1. Open the Event Attributes page.
  2. On the Countries tab, click Create.
    The Add Event Country page opens.
  3. Select one or more available countries.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • For events associated with timeline/event plans: to set default lead times for the countries selected for planned events, enter the number of days you want to set as the default in one or more of the fields listed on the screen.
      Note: The statuses shown on the screen depend on the timeline/event plan that you use.
    • For events not associated with timeline/event plans: Save.

    The selected countries are added to the list on the Countries tab. Any default lead times that you set appear on the Country Schedules tab or the individual Status Dates tabs for the countries added. You can see the Status Dates tab by clicking the country link in the Countries tab.
