Finalize a PDS Detail Status without a QC Status Change

Always use the Modify Status option to assign the final value Approved or Not Approved to the Status attribute of a PDS detail because that option never changes the QC Status attribute.

Modifying a PDS detail by using the Modify option always changes the QC Status attribute back to the default, set in Data Administration. The default indicates that a QC check is necessary. The default value for the default QC status is Not QC'd.
