Add a Manufacturing Process

Using the Global Project Planning (GPP) wizard, you can add the manufacturing process for an active ingredient detail, component detail, substance detail, or PDS manufacturing detail in a PDS.

1. Select Add Manufacturing Process, and click Next.
2. On the Select Manufacturing Process Parent page, select the manufacturing process parent type:
   • Active Ingredient
   • Component
   • Product Detail Set
   • Substance
3. Click Next.
   The Enter Manufacturing Process Values page appears.
4. On the Enter Manufacturing Process Values page, populate the needed attributes:
   • Manufacturing Process Name (required)
   • Manufacturing Process Specification
   • Manufacturing Process Keywords
   • Manufacturing Process Description
   • Manufacturing Process Comments
5. Click Next. On the Perform Another PDS Action page, do one of the following:
   • Click Yes to perform another update PDS action.
   • Click No to proceed to the Summary page of the GPP wizard.
6. Click Next. Proceed as follows:
   • If you selected Yes in the previous step, you return to the Select Action page of the GPP wizard. Proceed to Step 1, and execute the steps to perform another update PDS action.
   • If you selected No in the previous step, the Summary page appears. Go to the next step.
7. On the Summary page, do one of the following:
   • Select the project link on the Summary page to review the new project you created.
   • Click Finish. You are returned to the view from which you invoked the GPP wizard.
   To view the project after closing the GPP wizard, click Home > Projects. Click the link for the project you just created to open the Project Attributes page. Navigate to the PDS to view the modified details.
