Withdraw a Manufacturing Process

Using the Global Project Planning (GPP) wizard, you can withdraw manufacturing process from an active ingredient detail, component detail, substance detail, or PDS manufacturing detail in a PDS.

Note: The procedure below is a continuation of the Update Product Detail Sets project in the GPP wizard. The procedure presented in Creating an Update Product Detail Set Project must be initiated first.
To withdraw manufacturing process on the Select Action page of the GPP wizard:
  1. Select Withdraw Manufacturing Process on the Select Action page.
  2. Click Next.
  3. On the Withdraw Manufacturing Process 1 page, select the manufacturing process parent type:
    • Active Ingredient
    • Component
    • Product Detail Set
    • Substance
  4. Click Next.
    The Withdraw Manufacturing Process 2 page appears, listing PDSs containing approved manufacturing processes for approved parent details that also meet the criteria selected in step 3.
  5. Select one or more PDSs.
  6. Click Next.
  7. On the Perform Another PDS Action page, do one of the following:
    • Click Yes to perform another update PDS action.
    • Click No to proceed to the Summary page of the GPP wizard.
  8. Click Next.
    One of the following occurs:
    • If you selected Yes in step 7, you return to the Select Action page of the GPP wizard.
    • If you selected No in step 7, the Summary page appears. Go to step 9.
  9. On the Summary page, do one of the following:
    • Select the project link on the Summary page to review the new project you created.
    • Click Finish. You are returned to the view from which you invoked the GPP wizard.
    The Status of the selected Manufacturing Process(es) is set to Pending Withdrawal and the Status Date of the Detail is set to the current date.
  10. To view the project after closing the GPP wizard, click Home > Projects. Click the link for the project you just created to open the Project Attributes page. Navigate to the PDS to view the modified details.
