Calyx RIM 6.2 CHF 2 Release Notes

This document describes a certified hotfix (CHF) provided to improve Calyx RIM 6.2. In addition to enhanced features and functionality, Calyx RIM 6.2 CHF 2 resolves issues that were reported to Technical Support. Our hotfixes are cumulative packages applied to a named version of our software.

As a certified hotfix, these updates have undergone Quality Control regression testing, certifying the system works as expected. These changes will not create a new code branch, but will be identified by the updated build number on the existing codeline of each version affected, not a new release number.

Prerequisites

Calyx RIM 6.2 CHF 2 requires overrides updates. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for XML overrides review and updates. For details, please contact your Business Development Representative to consult with our Client Enablement team.

Cross-site Scripting Protection

Calyx RIM 6.2 CHF 2 enhances security protection against most cross-site scripting vulnerabilities, helping to prevent against hacker access and the theft or manipulation of customer sessions or cookies information.

Extended Support for Identity Providers

Calyx RIM 6.2 CHF 2 extends support for Identity Providers, including PingOne and Okta in addition to Microsoft Azure Active Directory.

OpenText Documentum D2 Integration

Calyx RIM 6.2 CHF 2 provides the following updates in D2 systems:
  • Allows synchronization of all the statuses of Calyx RIM PDS nodes with OpenText Documentum D2.
  • Enhances Regulatory Application Registration Form and Submission Registration Form with the new Concerned Member State table columns, to populate with Application Code and Health Authority values.
  • Enhances the Submission Registration Form with the following fields:
    • Sequence Name
    • Event Name
    • Event Code
    • Event Type
  • If a field on an integrated Calyx RIM 6.2 entity is updated, and it does not correspond to a column in the grid in D2, the existing Form is updated.
  • If a field on an integrated Calyx RIM 6.2 entity is updated, and it corresponds to a column in the grid in D2, a new row is created keeping the old record in the D2 grid.

Regulatory Updates

Calyx RIM 6.2 CHF 2 supports CH eCTD Module 1 Version 1.4.

Calyx RIM 6.2 CHF 2 introduces support of Valid Values 5.0 for STF 2.2.

Optimization

Processing of the following functions has been optimized in Calyx RIM 6.2 CHF 2:
  • Adding an assembly to a lifecycle
  • Creating a working assembly
  • Using the Ready for Submission wizard
  • Moving folders in an assembly
  • Variables resolution performance

Multiple Documentum Rendition Formats

Calyx RIM enables you to include additional PDF rendition formats for documents in Documentum.

New Sorting Logic in Create eCTD Wizard

Calyx RIM 6.2 CHF 2 provides new sorting logic in the Create eCTD wizard, enabling the display of all additional sections or folders in an assembly in the correct order.

Assign Document

Enhancements have been made to the Assign Document window and the DMS Search Results pane for better usability. This includes: retention of changes made to the size and position of the Assign Document window, and retention of changes made to the size, position, and sorting of columns in the DMS Search Results pane, including after re-login.

Parallel Planned Submissions

Calyx RIM 6.2 CHF 2 enables you to:

  • Identify conflicting lifecycle operations in parallel working assemblies.
  • Synchronize a working assembly with the latest changes in the submitted view and resolve conflicting lifecycle operations between a working assembly and a submitted view.
