Fault Tolerance and Load Balancing for Liquent InSight Rendering Service (IRS)

Liquent InSight Rendering releases before 4.1 included the VistaJ component, installed on the Insight application server. This server used VistaJ services to communicate with Liquent InSight Rendering.

Liquent InSight Rendering releases starting with 4.1 include the Service (IRS) Web service, installed on one or more servers, instead of VistaJ. The InSight application server now uses IRS services to communicate with Liquent InSight Rendering.
