Setting Up the Account Used for Installation
Before you install Liquent InSight Rendering, set up a service account for installing all applications in your publishing or rendering environment, including the Liquent InSight Rendering repositories.
Using a service account to install the applications does the following:
- Ensures that the user profile and application configuration settings are consistent in all repositories in a Liquent InSight Rendering domain.
- Ensures that the BusinessServiceManager services inherit consistent and correct profile information.
- Increases stability in the domain.
- Prevents configuration problems.
A domain service account is a Windows domain user account that is given local administrative privileges to Windows for each server in the Windows domain. The domain service account for Liquent InSight Rendering does not need to have domain-wide administrative privileges.
