Installing Liquent InSight Rendering 4.4 CHF 1
To install Liquent InSight Rendering 4.4, perform the steps below.

Verify the following for the installation user account:
- The account is a Windows domain user account placed in the Administrators group on the server.
- That this account is the same one used to install all prerequisite software for the server.
- This account will be referred to as local administrator.
Note: The account name may only contain the standard Latin 256 characters. -
Verify appropriate TCP/IP network access. (Enter NA for all items below that are not applicable.)
- Ping the InSight Rendering Rendering Server by hostname.
- Enter the hostname of the Liquent InSight Rendering Server: ___________________________________________
- The InSight Rendering Server is going to be communicating with an Oracle Database on another network server. Ping that server by hostname. Enter the following information about the Database Server:
- Host Name_______________________ Database Name___________________

Verify that the server operating system is set to optimize Applications/Programs
(not background services).
- Select Start, right-click on This PC, select Properties.
- Select the Advanced tab and click the Performance button.
- On the Visual Effects tab, select the Adjust for best performance radio button.
- On the Advanced tab, select the Adjust for best performance of Programs radio button.
- Select OK twice.

Add TNS_ADMIN variable
- In the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
- In the System variables list, click New.
- In the Variable field, enter TNS_ADMIN.
- Open Windows Explorer, navigate to the admin directory of the Oracle client installation, and copy the path to the clipboard.
- For Variable value, paste the admin directory path of the Oracle client installation.
- Select Path System Variable and select Edit.

Disable Data Execution Prevention:
- Select Start > Run and type cmd.
- Type bcdedit.exe /set nx AlwaysOff and press Enter.
- You will have to reboot the server for this change to take effect. You can do that now or wait until the server configuration is complete.
Note: You may skip this step if it cannot be performed. - Verify that Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration is not configured.

Launch
Server Manager.
- In the tree on the left, select the Local Server.
- Under the Properties section, select IE Enhanced Security Configuration.
- Select Off for both Administrators and Users.
- Click OK to apply your changes.
