Configure Microsoft Excel 2016
If you are not already logged in, login to the Liquent InSight Rendering Server as local administrator.
- Launch Microsoft Excel.
- In Microsoft Excel, click File > Options.
- Click General.
- Under User Interface options, set the ScreenTip style to Don't Show ScreenTips option.

Under
Start up options, clear the following options:
- Tell me if Microsoft Excel isn't the default program for viewing and editing spreadsheets
- Show the Start screen when this application starts
- Click Formulas and then under Error Checking, clear the Enable background error checking option.
- Click Save and then under Save workbooks, clear the Save AutoRecover information every option.
- Click Advanced.

Under
Cut, copy and paste:

Clear the following options:
- Show Paste Options button when content is pasted
- Show Insert Options buttons

Select the following option:
- Cut, copy and sort inserted objects with their parent cells

Clear the following options:
- Under Display, clear the Show function ScreenTips option.

Under
General, clear the following options:
- Ask to update automatic links
- Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11" paper sizes

Click
Trust Center.
- Under Microsoft Excel Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings.
- Click Privacy Options and then clear all options.
- Click File Block Settings and clear all Open and Save boxes.
- Select Message Bar, and then select Never show information about blocked content option.
- Select Protected View, and then clear all options.

Select
Macro Settings.
- Select Enable all macros option.
- Select Trust access to the VBA project object model option.

Select
ActiveX Settings.
- Select Enable all controls without restrictions and without prompting option.
- Clear Safe mode option.
- To close the Excel Options dialog box, click OK twice.
- Close Microsoft Excel.
