Install the Sharepoint Web Service (Sharepoint DMS Only) Requirements

You need only do this section if you intend to connect to one or more Sharepoint servers. 

Repeat this installation procedure on each Sharepoint server that will act as a Sharepoint repository server.

Note: A prerequisite for installing the Sharepoint Web Service on Sharepoint 2013 is that .NET 4.5 must already be installed on the Sharepoint server. .NET 4.0 will not work.

If you need to uninstall this Web service, stop the IIS service, then use Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features to remove the LIQUENT Sharepoint Services program. Then manually remove the LIQUENT Web Services IIS site.

Uninstall the Web Service from older LIQUENT Enterprise Services\ Liquent InSight Rendering versions and install the one supplied in 4.4.

This version of the Sharepoint connector has been refactored and will not work with older versions of Liquent InSight Rendering/LIQUENT Enterprise Services, SmartLink for Word, and SmartLink for PDF. Sharepoint 2010 is no longer supported in Liquent InSight Rendering 4.4.
