Configure Microsoft PowerPoint 2016
If you are not already logged in, login to the Liquent InSight Rendering Server as local administrator.
- Launch Microsoft PowerPoint.
- In Microsoft PowerPoint, click File > Options.

Click
General, and do the following:
- Under User Interface options set the ScreenTip style option to Don’t show ScreenTips.

Clear the following under
Start up options:
- Tell me if Microsoft PowerPoint isn't the default program for viewing and editing presentations.
- Show the Start screen when this application starts

Click
Proofing and then under
When correcting spelling in PowerPoint, clear the following option:
- Check spelling as you type

Click
Save and then under
Save presentations, clear the following option:
- Save AutoRecover information every
- Click Advanced.

Under
Editing options, clear the following options:
- When selecting, automatically select entire word
- Allow text to be dragged and dropped

Under
Cut, copy and paste, clear the following options:
- Use smart cut and paste
- Show Paste Options button when content is pasted

Under
Slide Show, clear the following options:
- Show menu on right mouse click
- Show popup toolbar
- Prompt to keep ink annotations when exiting
- End with black slide

Under
Print, clear the following option:
- Print in background

Under
General, clear the following options:
- Provide feedback with sound
- Show add-in user interface errors

Click
Trust Center.
- Under Microsoft PowerPoint Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings.
- Click Privacy Options and then clear all options under Privacy Options in the right pane.
- Click File Block Settings and clear all Open and Save boxes.
- Select Message Bar, and then select Never show information about blocked content.
- Select Protected View, and then clear all items.

Select
Macro Settings.
- Select Enable all macros.
- Select Trust access to the VBA project object model.

Select
ActiveX Settings.
- Select Enable all controls without restrictions and without prompting.
- Clear Safe mode.
- To close the PowerPoint Options dialog box, click OK twice.
- Close Microsoft PowerPoint.
