Configure Microsoft Project 2016

If you are not already logged in, login to the  Liquent InSight Rendering Server as local administrator.
  1. Launch Microsoft Project.
  2. In Microsoft Project, click File > Options.
  3. Click General.
  4. Under User Interface options, set the ScreenTip style to Don't Show ScreenTips option.
  5. Under Start up options, clear the Show the Start screen when this application starts option.
  6. Click Schedule and then under Schedule, clear the Show scheduling messages option.
  7. Under Schedule Alerts Options, clear the following options:
    • Show task schedule warnings
    • Show task schedule suggestions
  8. Click Save and then under Save projects, clear the Auto save every option.
  9. Click Advanced.
  10. Under General, clear the following options:
    • Set AutoFilter on for new projects
    • Prompt for project info for new projects
    • Show add-in user interface errors
    • Open last file on startup
  11. Under Planning Wizard, clear the Advice from Planning Wizard option.
  12. Under General options for this project, clear the Automatically add new resources and tasks option.
  13. Under Edit, clear the Ask to update automatic links option.
  14. Click Trust Center.
    1. Under Microsoft Project Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings.
    2. Click Privacy Options and then clear all options.
  15. Click Legacy Formats and clear the Allow loading files with legacy or non-default file formats. option.
  16. Click Macro Settings and select the Enable all macros option.
  17. To close the Project Options dialog box, click OK twice
  18. Close Microsoft Project.
    If you are asked to save the changes to the document, select No.
