Licensing
Validator is a desktop product that utilizes different user licenses to control access to the validation and review features. The licenses in version of Validator 5.1 are not associated with different costs, so you can request the different license types based purely on your user requirements.
It is important to determine whether you will give all of your users complete access to the system or perhaps restrict some users by using a different user license that provides more basic access to the system. All license options provide full access to the validation features but provide different access to the reviewing features.
The license options available are as follows:

| Validation Only |
This license is for users who will require access to the validation features only, and will not need to access the Review features. This may be helpful for existing InSight GateKeeper customers who want to restrict software validation and training to the existing features available in InSight GateKeeper. |
| Validation and Review |
This license provides access to all of the validation features previously available in InSight GateKeeper. The user will also have the ability to review the sequence view, see envelope and document metadata, and open the documents in a document viewer to view the PDF content. Users will not be able to edit any metadata using Validator, and will not be able to recalculate checksums. |
| Validation Review and Edit |
This license provides access to all of the validation features previously available in InSight GateKeeper. The user will also have the ability to review the sequence view, see envelope and document metadata, and open the documents in a document viewer to view the PDF content. In addition, users will be able to edit envelope and document metadata and recalculate checksums. |
