Import a Microsoft Azure User Group

Using a Microsoft Azure active directory group name, you can search for its users and import them to provide access to Calyx RIM Viewing.

To import users of a Microsoft Azure group.
  1. In the Administrator console, click Import Users to open the Users window.
Note: The Import Users tab appears provided that IdP Authentication only mode is set up in Authentication Configuration. Verify that all the necessary parameters and configurations are set. Refer to the topics Multiple Single Sign-on Identity Providers section and Configure Microsoft Azure Single Sign-on.
  2. Select the Import Users tab.
  3. Enter a group name in Group Name.
  4. In the Provider Name, select the provider name.
Note: This step will be available only for admin users specified in <PXL_Admin_pattern></PXL_Admin_pattern>, otherwise the login IdP will be taken. See step 6 of Enable Microsoft Azure Single Sign-on as Identity Provider for the details.
  5. To prevent the already imported users from being displayed, select the option Do not show imported users.
  6. Click Get Users.
A list of users matching the search criteria is listed.
  7. Select the applicable user(s) and click Import to import the selected users.
  8. Go to Edit Users to set the permissions for each account that was imported.
