Discipline Values and User Group Security

Discipline values enable administrators to restrict access to areas of an application TOC based on the assigned discipline of the user group.

The available Disciplines are:

Full TOC
Summary
Quality (CMC)
Safety (Non-clinical)
Efficacy (Clinical)
DSI (FDA)

A user will be provided access via user groups to only the sections of a TOC that are available and displayed according to the assigned discipline, in conjunction with the Discipline filter.

Multiple disciplines can be assigned to a user group, and Country-specific values can be included in user group assignments.

When a Reviewer through the user group is assigned the Quality discipline security setting, the Quality discipline filter is automatically applied and the option for the user to change the filter is inactivate.
