The
Content Indexing window displays information related to the content indexing of a submission such as: document count, indexed document count, and overall status. It also lets you perform bulk indexing on submissions if you have not indexed at the time of registering the application.
Note: To enable bulk index submissions, the value of the attribute
enableBulkIndex must be set to
true in the
config.xml file.

In the administrator console, click
Content Indexing.

Select the appropriate values for the following options:
- Repository
- User Group
- Application Group
- Application Name/Internal Name
To sort the applications based on the submission number, number of documents, number of indexed documents or the status, click on the respective column heading.
The submissions are listed.

To index or re-index a submission, click
Index or
Re-Index for the submission.
For the submissions that are inactive, the
Index or
Re-Index options display the following message:Indexing/Reindexing cannot be initiated on disabled application/submission.

To index multiple submissions, select the check boxes next to the submissions to choose the individual submissions or select the check box next to
Select to include all the submissions for indexing and click
Index.

To stop the indexing of a submission, click on the corresponding
Stop button and click
Stop Only the current.
To stop indexing of all the submissions, click the
Stop button of any of the submissions and click
Stop All.

To view a report of non-indexed files, click
Reports under the
Status Report for the submission.
A list of Documents names, File Paths and Reasons will be displayed.

To update the list of indexed submissions and see any additional documents that have been indexed, click the
Refresh icon.

To close the
Content Indexing window, click
Close.
