Roles

This topic introduces you to the user management functions within the Calyx RIM Viewing Administrator console. The user-management functions that you will perform with the Administrator console depend on whether your environment uses the LDAP authentication or the Database authentication mode.

Calyx RIM Viewing privileges associated with a particular role are granted to the user. Each user account must have an associated role of Administrator, Reviewer, Publisher, Submission Manager, or Restricted Reviewer. You can manage permissions to applications by specifying the user group to which user will have access. All roles can view submissions to which they have permissions.
