Add User Groups

When you add a user group, you are creating a single group to which you can add multiple users and applications, as well as restrict the Table of Contents by discipline and/or EU countries. A user group also enables you to set permissions for multiple users simultaneously.

Only Calyx RIM Viewing administrators can add, modify, or delete user groups.
  1. In the administrator console, under Application Groups, click Security to open the Security window.
A list of user groups is listed under User Groups. To sort the user group based on User Group name, click the column header.
  2. On the User Groups tab, click Add.
  3. In the Add User Group window, complete the information for the following fields:
    Field Name Description
Group Name Specify a name for the group. If you are using LDAP as your authentication method, the values that you enter must match the group names that you define when you add a group in the ldap-map.xml file.
Description Add a description for the group.
This info should be in a table, not an unordered list. Two columns is fine, header would be: Field Name | Description - Done.
