Delete Applications and Submissions: Prerequisites
You must have appropriate privileges to delete an application or a submission. Deleting applications or submissions from Calyx RIM Viewing does not delete them from the repository. To delete applications or submissions from the repository, they must be deleted at the repository source location.
Warning: Deleting a grouped submission impacts all applications associated with the group.
Warning: When deleting applications or submissions from a repository, it is strongly advised that they are deleted from
Calyx RIM Viewing first if they are already added. Doing so prevents issues related to cache recreation.
The following rules apply for deleting applications and submissions:
- Only a grouped application that contain files will be deleted.
- Only the multiple grouped applications that contain files will be deleted.
- If an application that is part of a grouped submission but does not contain files is selected, only the non-grouped submissions will be deleted.
- If multiple applications are selected and at least one of them is part of the grouped submission and does not contain files, only the non-grouped submissions for this application will be deleted.
- If multiple applications are selected and at least one of them is part of the grouped submission and contain files, all the applications associated with the grouped submission will be deleted.
- If multiple grouped submissions are selected and all of them contain files, all the applications will be deleted.
