Import an Individual Okta User

You can import individual Okta active directory users and provide them access to Calyx RIM Viewing.

To import an individual Okta user.
  1. In the Administrator console, click Import Users to open the Users window.
    Note: The Import Users tab appears provided that IdP Authentication only mode is set up in Authentication Configuration. Verify that all the necessary parameters and configurations are set. Refer to the topics Multiple Single Sign-on Identity Providers section and Configure Okta Single Sign-on.
  2. Click Search User.
  3. To find a specific user, enter the First Name and/or Last Name of the Okta user (the asterisk * wildcard is acceptable).
    Note: This step will be available only for admin users specified in <PXL_Admin_pattern></PXL_Admin_pattern>, otherwise the login IdP will be taken. See step 6 of Enable Okta Single Sign-on as Identity Provider for the details.
  4. Click Search User.
    A list of users matching the search criteria appears in the Search Results.
  5. Select a user and click Add.
  6. Add necessary information in the Add User panel and click Save.
