Microsoft Azure Single Sign-on

The Microsoft Azure federated single sign-on (SSO) feature enables users in an organization to automatically sign on to Calyx RIM Viewing with the user account information stored in the Azure active directory. This eliminates the need to reauthenticate Calyx RIM Viewing when you are using Microsoft Azure as ID provider.

You can configure the Microsoft Azure single sign on feature using one of the following authentication mode types:

  • IdP: User gets permissions from ldap-map.xml file (similar to LDAP authentication mode).
  • IdP Authentication Only: User gets permissions from database (similar to LDAP Authentication Only authentication mode).
